FAQ
It depends on the adventure. Our wheeled vehicle adventures can accommodate children of any age. Our four-passenger Can-Am Maverick Sport Max and our six-passenger Defender Max are perfect for families with children of any age and can even accommodate children in car seats.
We require all operators to have a valid driver's license.
Each group must have at least one individual who is at least 18 years old. This individual will be required to sign documents for all participants under the age of 18.
Guests are welcome to bring their own riding gear. However, all participants are provided with helmets (year-round), and in the winter months, we have snowsuits, boots, and gloves for adults. We do not have snowsuits, snow boots, or gloves for children. We provide avalanche safety gear for all drivers/operators.
We provide sack lunches for all registered participants. Guests are welcome to bring other non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.
Typically, we leave The Cabins at Bear River Lodge at 10 AM and return by 3 PM. This allows time to check the equipment in and out, provide orientation, and return in time to relax in the hot tubs before and after dinner.
We have a small General Store and Grill. The store is open daily from 9-5. The grill is open daily for lunch and serves hamburgers, chicken strips, fries, and pizzas. Arrangements can be made for pizzas to be pre-made and then baked by the guests for dinner. All cabins have full kitchens and BBQ grills on the decks.
We have two large hot tubs that are open year-round and an outdoor swimming pool that is open from mid-June through mid-August. We have two private fishing ponds. One is catch and release and the other is catch and keep. These are also available for ice fishing in the winter. We have two large fire pits available for guests to use throughout the year.
