About this adventure
This unique Arctic adventure combines the thrill of driving a Lynx snowmobile over the pristine open spaces of Lapland and a deep-dive into history as you search for your lucky gem inside an amethyst mine! Guests will ride an emission-free, all-new electric Lynx snowmobile or a classic 4-stroke model. Your fully-guided, half-day trip to the mine will be through the impressive, varied terrain that makes up the top of our planet. And once you arrive, you'll go back in time for a lesson in the purple variation of amethyst, formed millions years ago. You'll get the chance to dig out your own quartz before returning to Luosto, Finland by Lynx. This is a wonderful tour for beginners – and everyone else!
