Led by a private guide, this half-day journey takes you into New England's largest forest in the eastern US, on the shores of Moosehead Lake. This is the ultimate adventure for first-time and long-time sledders. You'll explore hidden trails winding through the trees over flat and mountainous terrain. You will zip through snow-covered landscapes, with the wind wooshing by and fresh powder at your knees. Plus keeping a keen eye out for Maine’s iconic wildlife, including the moose (much larger than you imagine!).
You will stop to enjoy lunch at a local eatery and then continue the Ski-Doo ride of your life. And since Maine is where winter is celebrated, you can also try ice-fishing in a heated hut or heading out on skis or snowshoes to find the moose you seek!
